Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, 15 February, 2021 - Ard Financial Group JSC (MSE:AARD) resolved to distribute 28.6 million ArdCoins (ARDX) to its shareholders on a pro rata basis. This decision was based on the current state of the economy, global pandemic, technology trends, digital transformation and the Mongolian government’s policy towards it, and, last but not least, of course, our shareholders’ wish. Shareholders who hold the stock on the date of the 2020 Annual General Assembly will be eligible for an allocation of ARDX1.0 per share. A similar move was made in 2019 upon the launch of ArdCoins as the nation’s first loyalty reward system based on blockchain technology, whereas Ard’s shareholders were handed out close to 20 percent of the total ArdCoins in circulation or 1 billion ARDX in total.
Ard Financial Group, Ard Insurance (MSE:AIC), Ard Credit (MSE:ADB), Ard Life, Ard Assets, and the National Privatization Fund (MSE:XOC) presented their preliminary financial and operational reports on January 22, 2021. Ard Financial Group made a profit of MNT2.5 billion, Ard Insurance MNT2.08 billion, and Ard Credit MNT2 billion, respectively. Ard Insurance announced MNT1 billion or 48.15 percent of the net profit for 2020 as a dividend to its shareholders, while Ard Credit resolved to allocate MNT1 billion or 49.79 percent of the company’s net profit in 2020 to be paid out in dividends.
