Ard Credit and Mongol Post are expanding their strategic partnership to provide financial services nationwide through the deployment of smart POS (Point of Sale) devices. After initially distributing 150 POS terminals to local branches, they are now preparing to deploy an additional 180 units, creating a complete network that covers all 330 districts across 21 provinces of Mongolia.
This initiative represents a major step toward achieving Mongolia’s national goals of digital transformation and financial inclusion. Citizens in rural areas can now conveniently access various financial services—including loans, savings, and payments—directly through their local post office branches.
Regarding the partnership, Mr. G. Telmen, CEO of Mongol Post JSC, stated:
“As part of Mongol Post JSC’s universal service obligation, we are delighted not only to deliver postal and logistics services to every corner of Mongolia but also to bring financial services closer to the people in collaboration with Ard Financial Group. Through our postal workers and smart POS devices, we can now provide a wide range of financial solutions on the spot, quickly and efficiently—contributing to transforming remote areas into active participants in the economy. On the occasion of launching our cooperation, we are deeply grateful to Ard Financial Group for gifting five of the famous Royal Enfield Himalayan 411 motorcycles, valued at MNT 100 million, to our local postal workers. There is no place our postal workers cannot reach—so we are fully confident that with these motorcycles, we will deliver services faster and more accessibly than ever.”
Zolboo B., CEO of Ard Financial Group JSC, stated:
“Since investing in the privatization of Mongol Post in 2016, Ard Financial Group has become a strategic shareholder, now holding over 26% of the company. Over the years, we’ve worked together on numerous impactful projects, one of the most significant being this joint program to enhance financial access through Mongol Post’s nationwide infrastructure. This partnership serves as a strong foundation for expanding our business reach in the most efficient and intelligent way.”
