Ard Financial Group (Ard Holdings) hosted its second large scale event of the year - CryptoNation Inaugural Forum (CNIF or Forum) - with over 1,200 people in attendance on December 1-2, 2017 in Ulaanbaatar to encourage a dialogue between public and private sector participants, civil society, crypto-enthusiasts, and scientific and academic communities on blockchain and its applications. CNIF wants to promote understanding about blockchain and cryptocurrency markets and we want to help create awareness and excitement at all levels of the society. We believe that Mongolia is uniquely positioned to take advantage of this opportunity.
Following up on one of the initiatives discussed during the Forum, Ard Holdings successfully organized a private meeting of investors on December 9, 2017 and founded Mongolia’s first crypto fund. CryptoNation is a closed special purpose vehicle (SPV) designed to help our investors have access to opportunities presented by the rise of cryptocurrencies and their mining. Investors approved the investment strategy offered by Ard Financial Group to create a cryptocurrency investment portfolio and run physical cryptocurrency mining.
CryptoNation JSC closed this week its first investment round at MNT2.5 billion from more than 100 individual and institutional investors. Ard Management, a subsidiary of Ard Holdings, will manage the funds for 3 years, in partnership with Ard Bit and Aravt Bit.
